About the event
Last year, we looked at women, and we realized that they are the backbone of families, communities, and many job industries. There are many female-owned businesses, activists, political figures, educators, and community figures who have worked effortlessly to contribute greatly to these entities. These women, deserve to be celebrated. Although there are many events in the city, there is not one that specifically focuses on the overall health of women. We would like to change that narrative by offering an event that will highlight, educate, and empower women on an overall healthy lifestyle. The Sisters For Life Health and Wellness Expo will be a day of education, workshops, panels, speakers, and entertainment. All of these components will focus on fostering healthier lifestyles, spirit, mind, and body, for these women, whether they are business owners, employees, political figures, students, or homemakers.
