Good morning ladies. I woke up with this topic on my mind. There are times when my spirit gets low thinking about the uncertainties of the future. Not that I have ever been certain of it, but when you have a factor that holds you back from even attempting a plan for the future, that is even more daunting. I have thrown myself into my work and being a more creative cook. I have added some decor to my home. More than anything I have taken some time to get my mind and heart in tune with my spirit and I have to tell you that has been most refreshing. I have learned that I can live without things I didn’t think I could. I have also had enough time to observe and see some people from a different perspective. Those are the positives I focus on to get me through. What do you do to cope with the stress of the Covid-19 Pandemic?
During this pandemic I have truly been Thankful for technology. I am a very social person and I enjoy friends and family. When I’m feeling down I FaceTime or Zoom with family and friends. Also, sitting on my back porch soaking up the Sun also lifts my spirit when I’m feeling down.
During this pandemic, I try to keep my mind on positive things, especially things that keep my Heavenly/Kingdom minded. I also try to be intentional by selecting individuals to call, send a card, or text - some form of communication. Reaching out to others keeps my mind of situations that may not be going the way that I think they should. Lastly, when I locate wipes, sanitizer, or Lysol spray, I try to immediately share the locations with others.
